Pink worked hard all game to win Seniors Touch grand final

The Pink Seniors Touch team may have been small in numbers for their grand final game on Thursday night, however the team was big on talent and they accounted for their opposition Blue Bangers, 11-9, to take the 2025 premiers title.

Pink accounted for Blue Bangers in the Senior (13-16 years) touch grand final on Thursday at Ward Oval.

Despite having no subs all game, Pink dominated the Blue Bangers with Josh Francisco (with six tries) and Kai McCosker (2) working hard all game in attack and defence to help Pink to an 11-9 win.

Pink had an 8-3 advantage at the half time break and it aided them in the second half as fatigue started to set in.

Blue Bangers outpointed them 6-3 in the second half however Pink hung on to claim the two point win.

Abbey Farrel and Talas Burke were Pink’s other try scorers.

Points from Blue Bangers came from two tries to Addison Cull and one each to Holly Watt, Jackson Muldoon and Rhylee Patterson.

Josh Francisco was a standout in the match and earned the Player of the Grand Final award.
