The Golfie bowlers played their first two rounds of the Pennants competition over the weekend.
The team travelled to Nyngan on Saturday where they had a narrow loss finishing with a 57-62 score.
On Sunday Cobar hosted Dubbo City and claimed a 62-59 victory for a 9-1 points win.
Next Sunday Cobar hosts Bourke in Round 3 of the competition.
Two games of the Club Singles championships have been played with Peter Goonrey getting the better of Peter Driscoll in Round 1. Goonrey then played Gerard Livingston in Round 2 with Livingston getting the win,
31-9.
Barefoot Bowls over the past two weeks has been well attended with 22 and 16 players respectively attending.
Marleen Wynd and J Groggins won last week with a score of +14, and Wynd was also a winner the week before with Don Datsun and Doug Hudson with +23.
The Jackpot prize was not won and is up to $360 this week.—
