Nymagee emerged victorious in the 6th annual Paula Potter Cup cricket competition on Saturday against Tottenham.
The Twenty20 match, a tribute to the late Paula Potter, saw an impressive showcase of skills and sportsmanship from both teams.
Winning the toss, Nymagee chose to bat first, setting a challenging total of 3/178.
James McClure led the charge with a brilliant knock of 49 runs, closely followed by Jade Buckman, who retired on a 42.
Jake Harbison’s unbeaten 35 and Stephen Nicholson’s 25 not out further bolstered Nymagee’s score.
In response, Tottenham put up a valiant effort but fell short by 15 runs, ending their innings at 6/163.
Greg Radford was the top scorer for Tottenham with a solid 37 runs, and D Fairley remained unbeaten at 30.
Phil Harley was the pick of the bowlers taking two wickets for just 13 runs, and Adam Buckman took two for 26.
This victory marks Nymagee’s fifth triumph in the Paula Potter Cup.
