Cobar Shire Council last week approved the development of a new child care centre in Brough Street. There had been some vocal opposition by nearby residents to the application to convert the former Jehovah Witness place of public worship into a Centre Based Child Care Facility. The residents were concerned it would affect their amenity and privacy and also have adverse noise, traffic, social and economic impacts on the neighborhood…Full Story in today’s edition.
