Local tradie is taking on The Push-Up Challenge

Local tradie and ‘gym junkie’ Craig Fielding will join over 100,000 Aussies tomorrow as they take up the challenge to do 3,144 push-ups in three weeks as part of The Push-Up Challenge, Australia’s largest fitness-based mental health initiative.

Craig told The Cobar Weekly he was motivated to join the challenge after hearing the shocking statistics that 3,144 people lost their lives to suicide in 2021.

“I’ve never competed in a charity event before and I came across this ‘Push for Better’ challenge on social media, and it resonated with me because the focus is on mental health.
