Little A’s club records broken in first week of competition

A Little A’s club record was broken twice in one race on the first night of the club’s 2026 competition last Monday at Ward Oval.

In the Under 7 girls 400m sprint, both Tippi Evans and Remi Quintal beat last year’s club record of 2min 19.77sec set by Claire Thompson.

Remi finished with a time of 2.11.98 to break Claire’s record while Tippi also broke Claire’s record flying home to record a super-fast new club record time of 1.50.97!

The Club’s Stars of the Week from Week 1 were: Tiny Tots—Lucas Satschuk and Zoe Mainey; Under 6—Max McKenna and Ayla Pattison; Under 7—Mason McLean and Tippi Evans; Under 8—Claire Thompson and Cooper Colling; Under 9—Jason Doherty and Kaiah Atuau; Under 10—Michael Arnold and Mia Watts; and Under 11 to Under 17—Alfie Toomey and Keelan Atuau.
