The Dustbowl Fuel Burners car and motorbike enthusiasts club held their annual memorial run to Nymagee on Saturday.

The event is held each year to honour members of the Dustbowl Fuel Burners who have passed away.

The club has recently introduced Life Memberships and past members Peter Fairbank, Jack Haines and Peter Hausler, who have all passed away, were posthumously awarded Life Memberships.

Club president, Mick Haines spoke about how the three members had been very special people who were great contributors to the club and the town.

Their Life Membership certificates were presented to family members, some of whom had travelled great distances to attend this year’s memorial run.

In total, there were 41 adults and nine children taking part this year which made for a great day out.—contributed
