Junior League wraps up a great season of footy for 2022
The Cobar Junior Rugby League Club
wrapped up a great season of footy for
2022 with presentations held at Tom
Knight Memorial Oval on Sunday afternoon.
This year’s perpetual trophies were earned
by: Hugo Josephson (the Tommy Good Top
Tackler Club award for 2022); Rhylee Jeffery
(the Tyrone Purcell Junior Clubman of the
Year); Tadhg McMullen (the Ted Brown
Senior Clubman of the Year); Roman Waugh
(the Shad Fisher Minis Best & Fairest of the
season); Tommy Bryan (the Paul Goonrey
Player with the Biggest Heart of the season);
Keelan Atuau (the Wayne Buckman Mods
Best & Fairest this season); Henry Rogers
(the Mark Smith Player with the Most Potential);
Nicholas Hodges (the President’s
Award); Rowdy Barton (the Club Overall
Best & Fairest Player); Tommy George and
Jaxon Burke shared the Top Try Scorer of the
Year trophy after both finished the season
with 18 tries each; and Joe Webster was the
2022 Rookie of the Year.
Individual awards were also handed out in
each team.
