JKM dominated the court in their
A Grade Senior Netball game with ENDivas on Saturday afternoon at Ward Oval.
JKM had a six goals lead by the first break and, despite a higher scoring rate by the ENDivas for the remainder of the match, JKM continued to outpoint them to finish with a
47-34 win.
The game’s Best and Fairest points were shared between ENDivas’ players Corinne McLeod and Marybeth Baker and JKM’s Ella Moratti.
In the other A Grade game, Pumpettes were too strong for Wildcats to finish with a comprehensive 52-29 win.
The game’s Sportsmanship points were earned by Sandie Mitchell (Wildcats) and Emma Barton (Pumpettes).
In B Grade, BrushStop’s Hannah Carroll and Irene O’Brien combined well in the shooting circle to slowly chip away at their 20 points handicap to eventually finish with a 40-37 win over Real Steel in their game on Saturday.
Carroll and O’Brien shared in the umpire’s Best and Fairest points along with Sharon Green (Real Steel).
Gumnuts forfeited their match to Golfie Mystics.
