Cobar’s Jacob Ryan teamed up with Tony Harding from Narromine to win the men’s golf NSW Sandgreen Championships played on the Cobar course over the weekend.

With an impressive 43 points in the scratch competition on Saturday, the pair was five shots ahead from locals Jay Egan and Chris Gilbert at the end of play on Day 1.
Ryan and Harding’s final score of 11 under par gave them the tournament win over
Dean Leach and James Taylor (from Warren) while Egan and Gilbert finished back in third place.
A number of local players featured in the top positions from the field of 108 players with Marc Cummins and Matt Hunter winning the Nett competition (after a great first day combined score of 50 points) from runners-up Sam Bolam and Adam Hall.
