Guide Hall takes shape

Construction (or deconstruction) has commenced on the Girl Guides’ new home in Maidens Avenue. Local building contractor Jade McDonald and his crew from
Country Mile Constructions have commenced gutting the old council-owned Ward Oval gate-keeper’s cottage in preparation for its transformation into a new Girl Guides Hall. The Guides are expected to be able to move into their new location by the end of the year.
