Good roll up of golfers for 68th annual Bannister Day

Bannister Day on Saturday attracted a
field of 22 men golfers and 17 ladies for this
much sort after Stableford event.
Scott Mayne did enough to take out first
place in the men’s competition with a score of
39 stableford points.
Paul Kershaw finished second on 38 points.
Cohan Nicholson, on 36 points, finished
back in third place.
Greg Clark pipped Colin ‘Telly’ Green for
4th place after both players finished with 35
stableford points.
The men’s Nearest to the Pin prizes went to
Cohan Nicholson in A Grade, Scott Mayne in
B Grade and Ron Craw in C Grade.
There were some terrific scores at the top of
the leaderboard in the ladies’ competition.
Julie Livingston was in outstanding form,
taking the win with an excellent 42 points.
Hot on her heels was Narelle Kriz with 41
points, while Michelle Rorke was also
impressive with 40 points to finish third.
Janet Place claimed 4th position with 36
points, followed by Geraldine Francisco in
5th with 34 points.
Nearest the Pin winners were Narelle Kriz
in A Grade, Susan Goonrey in B Grade and
Ann Dunn in C Grade.—contributed
