Cobar Little Athletics members have been busy breaking club records and on Monday they were presented with certificates for their achievements.
Nicholas Buckman has already set four new records this season and the competition is only three weeks in.
He broke Jacob Good’s U17 triple jump 10.63m record set in 2011/12 season, with a jump of 10.87m.
Buckman also broke Rohan Lloyd’s U17 200m 27.97sec record set back in 2008/09 season, with a new time of 27.41sec.
Luke Hiller’s U17 high jump record of 1.50m, set in 2010/11, also fell when Buckman recently jumped 1.55m .
Andrew Rorke’s U17 80m hurdles 14.70sec record set in 2014/15 was also broken by Buckman, who set the new record at 14.40sec.
Hannah Carroll broke Josie Anderson’s U13 discus record of 27.78m which was set back in 2008/09 season, with a throw of 34.40m.
Carroll also broke Amber White’s U13 shot put record of 8.80m set in 2009/10, with a throw of 9.96m.
Hannah Kriz broke Atlanta Rorke’s U17 shot put record of 9.02m which was set in 2011/12 season, with a throw of 10.72m.
Kriz also broke Rorke’s U17 discus record of 20.57 set in 2013/14, with a throw of 27.87.
Andrew Rorke broke Jacob Good’s U17 shot put record of 10.27 set in 2011/12 season, with a throw of 10.72m.
Taylor Good broke Jaimee Cohen’s U17 80m hurdles record of 17sec set in 2007/08 season, and set the new record at 16.69sec.
