Field of 150 for Inter Mine Golf Challenge

players for the 34th running of the popular golfing event. Golfers were only able to play 16 holes of the course with the 7th and 11th holes out of action due to the wet conditions. CSA kept its winning streak going and once again took out the trophy this year when they finished with 331 points. Tritton were runners-up again on 348 and Peak finished third on 369 points. The winning Mine Teams were Manly Sux with 52 ½ , Prendys (53), Bonnie B’s (54 1/3), TNC (55), Ausmine (55 ½) and Sharp As (56 5/6). The best of the Non Mine Teams were Chipper Reeds with 55, DTE Electrical (55 1/3), River Rats (55 5/6), Ruff Stuff (56 ½) and Yellow Emus (56 5/6). The Nearest the Pin winners were: Men’s—Brandt Pattison (3rd hole), Steve Webster (8th) and Dayne Gardiner (15th); Ladies—Keely Gordon (3rd hole) and Christina Gordon (8th). Garry Wilkin won the Men’s Straightest Drive prize. Latisha Bennett had the Ladies’ Straightest Drive and also won the Ladies’ Longest Drive prize. Doug Thorpe had the Men’s Longest Drive of the day.
