Empire’s unbeaten run stays intact for grand final win

The local darts competition wrapped up last week with the A and B Grade grand finals played on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

The Empire Barflies finished the year undefeated and claimed the A Grade title on Wednesday night after they beat the RSL Outlaws 6-3.

In the B Grade grand final played on Tuesday night, Golfie Dilligaf also finished as 6-3 winners over Western Benchwarmers.

High scores from the games were thrown by: Empire Barflies—Craig Jones 140, Alex Bianchina 100 and Brian Sylvester 100, 100, 100; RSL Outlaws—Tony Brown 100, 100, 100 and Shane Haddy 100, 100; Golfie Dilligaf—George Greer 100; and Western Benchwarmers Zach Finn 100, 100, 101.

Craig Jones had the Men’s Highest Peg Out with 76 while Kylie Tiffen’s throw of 32 was the Ladies’ Highest Peg Out of the finals.
