Ron Gapps (and his wife Helen) were among the locals who took part in the Anzac Day driveway service on Saturday morning. They’d also made a wreath to pay tribute to Ron’s dad, Jimmy, who served in Egypt and New Guinea during World War II. With the traditional dawn service, march and service in Drummond Park cancelled due to the Coronavirus crisis, many locals were keen to find alternative ways to commemorate this year’s Anzac Day.
