Donation for Cadets

With regional shows being cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dubbo-based, family-owned, Monster Grill amusement group have been travelling around the western area putting on mini shows. They were in Cobar over the
weekend to entertain local families with show rides, games and treats. Owners Peter Brown and Louise Wilson said they received great support from the community and showed their appreciation by donating their entry fees of just over $1,500 to the
Cobar 221 Army Cadet Unit (Louise is pictured above with local cadets Amara and Riley Bottom). The Cadets have also been struggling to fundraise this year due
to COVID restrictions and Monster Grill’s donation will help with their ongoing
operational costs so the Cadets can continue to train and serve the community.
