A good crowd of Cobar residents ignored the wet weather yesterday to turn out in numbers for the annual Anzac Day dawn service at Cobar War Memorial Hostel. Led by Cobar RSL Sub Branch president Ben Hewlett, residents paid their respects to Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women. Special guest Lieutenant Tyler Johnston from HMAS Rankin addressed the crowd before special guests including the Cobar Cadet Unit, pictured above, laid wreaths at the memorial.
