Chris Deighton was returned as the Cobar Roosters Rugby League Club president at the club’s second attempt at an annual general meeting last Thursday.
After a poor turnout for their first AGM two weeks ago, there was enough interest last week for the meeting to go ahead however not all of the executive positions were filled.
A new treasurer was elected with Jessica Deighton taking on the role heading into the 2021 season.
Nathan McAndrew was elected to the vice president’s position and Mollie Harley is their media officer.
While there were no takers for either the secretary and registrar positions, the registrar’s role was filled following the meeting with Rachel Simon taking on the role. The committee will work to recruit a secretary in the coming weeks.
