Cobar salutes army band

Ball-goers to this year’s ANZAC Ball at the Services Club on Saturday night partied until the wee small hours with members of the Australian Army Band Kapooka. The ball, which is expected to become an annual event, was organised by the RSL Sub Branch of Cobar as a fundraiser for their World War I Memorial project in  Drummond Park. The band backed it up on Sunday to  provide more great entertainment at the Market Day at the park.
