A Triples Championship bowls match was played at the Golfie on Sunday with Craig ‘Duck’ Grimmond steering his team mates Bian Smith and Terry Clyde to a landslide +30 win!
Their victory over Scott Mayne, Paul Kershaw and Mick McManus sees them now through to the semi finals.
To be fair, Team Duck had far more experienced bowlers than Team Mayne, but it was good to see them keep going right to the last end. (Championship games are played over 21 ends.)…Full report in this weeks edition out now!
