The Golfie bowls Championship competition is heating up with the pairs team of Daniel Holt and Dean McLeod annihilating the Roberts brothers of Kyle and Tyler in their Championship clash last Thursday.
The Roberts’ were forced to concede after the 13th end with the score at a crushing 23-3.
In the Singles competition, Aaron Finn had a comeback victory against his coach/mentor David Knight to win the game 31-25 last Friday while on Saturday Don Roberts had an victory against Scott Toomey in a game some would consider “almost close”.
John Daly debuted with a solid win over Barry Bargwanna on Sunday in the Singles Championships, 33-28.
Peter ‘China’ Brien had a rough start to the day on Sunday going down against Kyle Roberts 31-20 in a Singles game, however his luck changed later in the day when he finished as the man of the match in his Triples game—unfortunately it was for the opposition.
Bian Smith, Tony Brown, and Gerard Livingston had a comfortable win over Brien, Shane Carter and Aaron Finn.
