Ball Huggers were hogging the ball in their Mixed Indoor Netball match against Council Connections last Tuesday night at the youth centre.
Ball Huggers didn’t let go of the ball too often and dominated the match to finish with a 39-16 win.
Council Connections only managed eight points in the first half of the game to Ball Huggers’ 22.
Ball Huggers ran away with the ball in the second half, putting another 17 points on the board while Council Connections only managed to net eight, giving Ball Huggers a massive 23 points win.
Best and Fairest points went to Council Connections’ Adrienne Pierini and Hank Ung.
The second game of the night was shown to be a little more competitive, with Bench Warmers just finishing as seven points winners over The Opposition.
Benchwarmers were up by six points in the first half, 16-10 however it was the second half that proved to be the more competitive.
The teams went goal-for-goal, with Benchwarmers scoring 12 goals to The Oppositions’ 11 however it was a little too late, with Benchwarmers holding out for a 28-21 win.
The Oppositions’ Simon Agatyn and Alex Hernando were named the game’s Best and Fairest players.
