Aurelia Metals has recently provided an update on its donations to the Cobar Community through its Peak Donations committee.
For the first six months of this year, Aurelia has provided close to $95,000 to a number of organisations including Cobar Preschool, Cobar High School, NNWW Aboriginal Corporation, the Iron Ring Committee as well as a range of community events including the Science and Engineering Challenge, Cobar Golden Clay Shoot and Tour de OROC, along with many others.
Speaking about the contributions, General Manager Cobar Region, Angus Wyllie said the company was proud to be able to continue to provide support for the Cobar community.
Angus said it highlights Aurelia’s commitment to building trusted, transparent, and long-term relationships.
“At Aurelia, we are committed to ensuring our presence positively impacts the communities where we operate through programs that respect their aspirations,” Angus said.
“We want to create strong connections with our communities and do this by supporting programs that align with their goals.
“We genuinely and respectfully engage with our communities and support local councils to build resilient communities.
“Support for childcare, education, healthcare, community sport and recreation, and flexible work arrangements all play a role in achieving this,” he said.
