Central NSW Business HQ Business Connect Adviser Daniel Fisher was in Cobar last week to help local businesses to navigate a new way to access the Business Portal.
From the end of the month, businesses will no longer be able to use AUSkey to access the government’s online services such as the Business Portal which is used to lodge BAS Activity Statements and Superannuation payments for employees.
Mr Fisher explained how the new myGovID and RAM (Relationship Authorisation Manager) tools worked and took workshop participants through the setting up process step by step.
The new myGovID tool is a secure way to prove who you are online while RAM allows business staff to access government online on behalf of a business.
