The fashion stakes were extremely high at Saturday’s Cobar Miners Race Club autumn meeting with the judges having to pick winners from some very classy looking and large fields. Our main picture is this year’s Ladies’ and Men’s runners-up Mede Bendall and Roy Simpson with the Men’s and Ladies’ winners Tom Draper (from Sydney) and Lisa Robinson. The Walsh family (pictured above right), Bianca and Sean with their son Jhett and daughter Eliza, were judged as the Best Dressed Family. Also pictured below right are fashion-forward locals Janette Booth and John Claus.
