Drummond Park was busy on Friday with people young and old enjoying themselves at Cobar’s GROW (Guiding Rural and Outback Wellbeing) Day. GROW Day, run by the Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS), takes place in many rural, regional and remote communities across NSW and aims to offer information about local health and wellbeing services. The Cobar event offered a variety of fun activities including footy, tug of war, laser tag, a colour run, music, giveaways, demonstrations and a free barbecue. Rachael Davis Manns from the Cobar RFDS said the day is all about gathering community services together to show what’s on offer and to empower people to engage with the different services available here in Cobar.
