Divas, Smash Ups and Pumpettes all recorded big wins in their Round 11 games of the Senior Mixed Netball competition on Friday night at Ward Oval.

Divas recorded a 38 point win over JKM Dynamic Fitness; Smash Ups had a 24 goal victory over Peak Golden Girls; and Pumpettes won by a margin of 18 points over Pink Galahs.

JKM made a good start to their match with Divas on Friday but it was only short lived as the Divas’ shooters reigned supreme on the court to run away and finish with a 67-29 win.

Divas’ Lauren Urquhart and Brianna Coffey shared in the game’s Best & Fairest points with JKM’s Kym Sutton.

Sportsmanship points were earned by Corinne McLeod (Divas) and Molly Broughton (JKM).

The first half of the match between Smash Ups and Peak Golden Girls was fairly even with Smash Ups having a slight advantage of eight points at half time.

Smash Ups then stepped up their defence in the second half and greatly limited Peak’s shooters’ scoring opportunities.

Smash Up’s shooters also stepped up a notch and great shooting helped their side to a 56-32 win.

Smash Up’s Brennah Aumua shared in the game’s B&F and Sportsmanship points.

B&F points also went to Peak players Lachey Thompson and Casey Lee.

Ellie Fenton earned her Peak team’s Sportsmanship points.

Pumpettes won their match with Pink Galahs 42-24.

Just two points separated the two teams at the end of the first quarter (12-10) before Pumpettes raced away to record the win.

B&F points were earned by Pink Galahs’ Dakota Tatchell and Seigrid Peters along with Pumpettes’ Sarah Nicholson.

Peters also shared the Sportsmanship award with Jayme Francisco (Pumpettes).
