Shooting success at State

Competing at the NSW Clay Target Association’s State Championships carnival at Wagga Wagga over the weekend were Cobar Clay Target Club’s Aiden Barraclough and Nicholas Wells (Darran Wells’ son from the Cessnock Gun Club). Aiden finished as the B Grade Double Barrel Champion and represented the Western Zone in the Zone Shoot where they finished 4th. Nicholas was the C Grade Double Barrel Champion and finished 3rd in the C Grade Single Barrel event. Cobar’s Darcy Manns also competed at the carnival in the Open Men’s Junior division and was part of the Junior Western Zone team. Cobar Clay Target Club president Bryan Manns and Cobar shooter Peter Hosie competed in various events and both were part of the Open
