The Outback Challenge is part of a nationwide STEM outreach program presented by the University of Newcastle in partnership with the community, the Rotary Club of Cobar, the mines and sponsors. Through the provision of hands-on experiences, the Challenge aims to inspire more young people to make a difference in the world by choosing a career in Science and Engineering.
