Instructors and some of the participants from Cobar Shire Council and Cobar Arts Council’s recent Bookbinding, Map Making and Paper Making workshops at the
Paper Creations Exhibition on opening night last Thursday at the Cobar Railway
Station. The exhibition ran over three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and
showcased the fantastic and varied talent of local crafters.

The Cobar Courthouse, one of Cobar’s magnificent old buildings, is currently undergoing a refurbishment. According to a Department of Communities and Justice spokesperson, the maintenance project includes internal and external painting and associated repairs to woodwork, window and door frames, walls and eaves.
