When your surname literally translates to papermaker (or more correctly paper mill), local library staff member, Natalia Papierniak (who is of Polish origin) was well qualified to lead Cobar Shire Council’s Book Binding workshop on Sunday.
The Book Binding workshop at the Cobar Youth & Community Centre on Sunday was the fifth in a series of six CASP (Country Arts Support Program) workshops Cobar Shire Council has been hosting with participants also learning Papermaking and Mapmaking skills.
“There is so much science that goes into book making, and this is not just book making but also conservation,” Natalia told The Cobar Weekly.
