Former Cobar rugby league player, Madasan Taylor (above with the ball), has been selected as part of the Toowoomba Women’s Open Rugby League Allstars team. Madasan recently moved to Queensland for work and signed up to play with a team and was selected for the side during preseason training. They played their first game on Saturday winning 24-20 against an Indigenous representative team. It’s a welcome return to the footy field for Madasan who hasn’t played league since 2019 when she broke her collarbone playing with the Goannas Women’s Under 17s.
