A group of local women with a range of creative abilities took part in the Cobar Library’s Adult Craft session on Saturday to hand decorate travel mugs. Participants were given free reign to create a design of their choice using brush strokes and dots. Among the artwork created were flowers, letters (which made their mugs even more personalised), mandalas and native birds. While a few of the participants already had extensive experience painting on flat surfaces, they commented that working on the mug’s curved surface was definitely more of a challenge.
