Four Cobar Pony Club riders attended a Zone 4 Jamboree in Trangie on Saturday.
The Jamboree consisted of a number of events including dressage, riders classes, jumping and sporting events to name a few.
Club secretary Brytt Moore reports this was the first competition for 2020 for some of the riders and everyone was very excited to be able to attend.
Everyone came away with great results, and in large fields of riders, Zac Boland and Ella Armstrong both took out reserve champions for their age groups.
Lila Armstrong set a goal to win either her dressage or riders class, however she exceeded this and won both, as well as placing in a number of other events.
Lara Stephens’ only aim was to place in any event, and she managed six placings including first in the Pony Club Mount class and a fourth in Jumping, which she had initially opted out of competing in!
Harpa Martin has also planned on attending but unfortunately had to pull out last minute due to horse injury, however she should be back competing in no time!
“Cobar Pony Club are super proud of their riders and achievements despite the hurdles all have faced throughout 2020,” Brytt said.
