A field of 20 teams contested the golf Mixed Foursomes Championships over 27 holes on Sunday.
Jacob Ryan and Chrissy Gilligan did enough to secure the title for 2020 with a scratch score of 118.
The runners-up were Max Phillips and Fay Hardwick on 121 who also won the Net competition played in conjunction with the championships.
The pair won on a countback from John Collins and Karen Walsh after each team finished the day with 103¾ net.
Garry and Jannine Wilkin placed third on 106½ net followed by Jacob Ryan and Chrissy Gilligan (109), Scotty Mayne and Susie Hardwick (109¼) and Stewart and Serena Fraser on 110¼ net.
David ‘Ooze’ Knight was available for couples counselling after the game but apparently his services weren’t needed, well not that anyone was willing to say!
The Nearest the Pin prize on the 3rd hole went to John Collins and Karen Walsh while the 15th was won by Alec Fraser and Angela Fryer.—T’d Off
