While we missed out on having a Cobar Show this year, the school holidays got a bit more interesting last week when Side Show Alley set up on the vacant block next to the Services Club. Geared mainly to younger children, it offered a merry-go-round ride, jumping castle, games of chance and showbags along with traditional show food of dagwood dogs, fairy floss and waffles. Pictured last Friday checking out Side Show Alley was Lisa Travis with her three daughters, Lara, Sadie (in the pram) and Phoebe.
