The Cobar Yabbies Senior Men’s Swimming Club team returned from the Western Districts Swimming Carnival in Wellington on Sunday with a truckload of trophies. They won the 10 man 50m relay, the six man 50m handicap relay, the four man open scratch 50m relay and finished second in the four man 50m handicapped 200+ years relay. Chris Powell won the 30m open handicap final (with John Carswell back in third place) and Bill Fugar claimed a win in the 50m open handicap final (with Bob Clark third). Dave Mexted once again added his name to the Dubbo RSL Sub Branch 50 metres RSL Championships Under 50 Years trophy, having also won this title last season.
