Chris Powell and Lucas Hardy are the Cobar Yabbies Senior Men’s Swimming Club Brace Relay Champions for the 2022/2023 season.
The Brace Relay Championship was contested last Tuesday night at the Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool with Powell and Hardy consistently good all night to finish with the lowest time score.
The team of Fr Paul Finucane and Dave Mexted started the night off well with a big win in the first event, the 2x 50m handicapped relay. The pair then backed that up with another victory in the second event, the one legged hop.
At that stage of the night, Finucane and Mexted were looking like the men to beat with a tally of just 5.51 seconds…full report in this week’s edition out now!
