Traffic stopping donation

Rural Aid’s latest delivery of donated hay to the Cobar area momentarily stopped traffic in the main street yesterday while we took this photo as it passed one of the local sponsors of the Buy A Bale fundraiser, The John Mitchell Pharmacy (Pharmacy Alliance). Remote area carriers have been employed to deliver the donated fodder with local transport company, GVS Freight Services, making their third delivery to Cobar yesterday. GVS’s owner, Andrew Koschel said the Cobar area has received about 600 tonnes of fodder from WA through Rural Aid and the Buy A Bale initiative over the past two months. Local farmers who would like to register for donations can log their interest at www.ruralaid.org.au/buy-a-bale/ Pictured welcoming the truck are pharmacy staff Megan Barker, Chloe Neumann and Courtney Deighton.
