Rugby players reminisce on 65 years

Cobar Camels Rugby Union Club former players, Darby Warner (who played 306 First Grade games for Cobar from 1967 to 1983); Bruce Harland (who played from 1960 to 1968 and toured New Zealand with the Australian Wallabies in 1962); Peter Payne (former player, coach and sponsor who played from 1968 through to 2007 in three grades and Old Boys); and Kel Ellicott (who is credited as Cobar’s hard man of rugby and played from 1968 through to 2007) were among some of the members who were invited to share their favourite memories of the club at their 65th Reunion dinner on Saturday at Ailsa Fitzsimmons Memorial Oval.
