Rugby is everyone’s game

The Cobar Junior Camels held a Gala Day at Ailsa Fitzsimmons Memorial Oval on Sunday with boys and girls from Cobar, Bourke, Walgett and the Macquarie League taking part in rugby skills and games. NSW Rugby development officers helped on the day with the Under 4s participating in non contract drills to introduce them to the sport while the Under 8s got to play modified games to further develop their emerging skills. The Under 12s also played games with development officers helping out with coaching. Pictured are six year olds Isobel Gillette and Harry Wilson tackling a Bourke visitor.
