The Cobar Roosterettes called nearly all the shots in their Round 10 Castlereagh League Tag game against Coonamble on Saturday at Tom Knight Memorial Oval.

The Roosterettes dominated possession and field position for most of the match which helped them to finish with a comprehensive
28-6 win over the visitors.

To their credit, Coonamble defended well for the first 15 minutes of play when Cobar constantly kept the ball in Coonamble’s half and relentlessly attacked their try line.

Cobar eventually found a gap out wide and Georgia Boland crossed next to the corner post to score the Roosterettes’ first points to give Cobar a 4-0 lead.

Coonamble scored immediately after. (It was the first time they had ventured into Cobar’s half.)…Full report in this week’s edition of The Cobar Weekly out now!
