Pritchard takes home the Billy Manns Memorial Trophy

The annual Billy Manns Memorial Shoot was contested at the Cobar Clay Target Club on  Sunday with overcast and stormy conditions testing the shooters’ skills.

Hank Pritchard, with a near perfect score of 29 in the 30 Target Handicap Event, won the  Billy Manns Memorial title over Kevin Hatch (28/30) after a shoot-off.

Max Ingleton and Bryan Manns, both with 28/30 were also in the running.

Sunday’s event attracted 16 shooters which included locals, juniors, novices and away visitors to contest the three event program.

Bryan Manns started the day off on the right foot with a win in AA Grade of the 20 Target Double Barrel event.

Manns shot a possible (perfect score 20/20) to take the win. The glory in A Grade was split four ways with Brad Kendrick, Max Ingleton, Hank Pritchard and Matt Harland all finishing with 18/20.

B Grade was also hotly contested and finished in a two-way tie between Mark Kolstad and Luke Scales, both with 20/20.

Darcy Manns won C Grade with 18/20.

Bryan Manns backed up to win the 25 Target Single Barrel event, once again with another possible, 25/25.

A Grade’s win was shared by Tracey Boon and Ingleton with 23/25, Kolstad again won the B Grade title with 25/25 and Kirk Grogan grabbed first place in C Grade with 18/25.
