Peak Gold Mines wins this year’s Inter Mine Challenge

The Peak team of Scott Brown, Josh Flew, Kevin Walsh, Chris Powell, Patrick Bourke and Mark Gilbert just before they started on the front nine holes at the Inter Mine  Challenge golf day on Saturday. Chris reports they parred the back nine, which is their best result at an Inter Mine Challenge as they usually bogie the back nine.

Peak Gold Mines finished as the winners of this year’s golf Inter Mine Challenge event.

There was a good roll up for the three person Ambrose game on Saturday and also included two Hera teams this year.

The individual winning team was Mark Edgecombe, Tony Dunn and A Walsh.

The Longest Drives on the day were recorded by Casey Peter (Ladies) and Matt Lovegrove (Mens).

Jay Egan had the Men’s Straightest Drive Melissa Dunne took the prize for the Ladies.

Ladies Nearest the Pin prizes were recorded on the 3rd hole by Sue-Ellen Dunne, on the 7th by Narelle Kriz, 8th Ann Dunn, 11th Melissa Dunne and 15th Karen McKenna.

Nearest the Pin prizes for the men were collected on the 7th hole by Mark Edgecombe, 8th Garry Wilkin, 11th Larry Brydon and 15th Tony Dunn.

In the men’s competition on Sunday Max Phillips finished as the winner ahead of Tom Good and Alec Fraser.

This Saturday a Stableford game will be played for the Monthly Medal competition.

A Stableford is also set down for Sunday.
