Someone well and truly shook up the Fanta Junior Touch side and they exploded onto the field last week to record a sensational 6-2 win over their Red Rippers opposition.

Kasalia Fakahua led the scoring for Fanta touching down for two tries worth four points. (Female tries are worth double points.)

Jack Geppert and Josh McMillan, with a try each, added the other two points to their tally.

Aisea Fakahua and Jack Preisig were Red Rippers’ only scorers.

The referees’ Best and Fairest points were earned by Josh, Rosie George (Red Rippers) and Billy Dunn (Fanta).

In the Juniors other Round 4 match last week, the Blue Sharks took a piece out of the Bananas—but it was only a small bite, with the Sharks recording a narrow one point win.

Blue Sharks held onto their one point half time lead to finish with an exciting 9-8 win.

Indie Burke was unstoppable recording four tries for her Blue Sharks team with their other point coming through Darcy Geppert’s try.

Jason Cleary Thou was also hard to catch and he touched down for seven tries for the Bananas.

Their other try was recorded by Keelan Atuau.

Indie and Jason shared the game’s B&F points with the Bananas’ Ollie Tranter.
