Cobar High School held their annual cross country last Wednesday with Conor McMullen the first male over the line finishing the 6.4km course in 27 minutes and 19 seconds.
Abby Carswell was the first female finisher with a time of 37.49.
The age group winners were: Under 12 Girls—Dakota Connolly (45.70); Under 13 Girls—Sarah Morley (46.19); Under 13 Boys—Damon Bruce (29.27) with Jason Sime the runner-up on 36.22; Under 14 Girls—Sally Schintler (46.42); Under 14 Boys—Tadhg McMullen (33.39) followed by Riley Bottom on 35.14; Under 15 Girls—Matilda McIver (59.17); Under 15 Boys—Ryan Urquhart (28.09) with Raymond Jones second on 28.45; Under 16 Girls—Lucy Bell (44.08); 17+ Girls—Abby Carswell finished ahead of Sandi Mitchell (42.53); and 17+ Boys—Conor McMullen was in front of Trent Robinson (36.55).
