Local firies and their dance partner wives have helped to raise around $12,000 at the Dance Factor charity fundraising night on Saturday at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club. Of that $5,000 will go to their Cobar Fire Station 256 Climb for Motor Neurone Disease; $4,000 has been allocated to the War Memorial construction project in Drummond Park; $2,000 will go to the Kubby House Child Care Centre and $1,000 to Camp Quality. After the judges votes and “bribery” count, Khan and Jess Fugar were declared the winners and presented with the coveted mirror ball trophy.
