Biz Association is making plans

The Cobar Business Association held its annual general meeting on Thursday at the

Additional entertainment for this year’s Christmas Street Parade, cocktail networking events, business breakfasts and bringing back the business awards were among the many items discussed at the Cobar Business Association’s AGM last week.

Held at the Services Club on Thursday, the meeting was well attended with a number of new faces joining the committee, including Miranda Fry, who was elected as the group’s new vice president.

The remainder of the executive committee remains unchanged with Sharon Harland returned as president and Demi Smith and Briana Coffey were uncontested for the secretary’s and treasurer’s positions respectively.

The other eight attendees at the meeting joined the general committee.

Mrs Harland welcomed the new committee and said she was excited for the year ahead.

“It was great to see a number of new faces at the meeting, people from different business sectors who are keen to be involved and who have brought some interesting new ideas to the table,” she said…Full story in this week’s edition out now!
