selection of specially curated artworks drawn from the Outback Arts 10th annual Outback Archies art competition held in 2020, are currently on display at the Cobar Shire Library. The exhibition show-cases artwork by 20 artists from the far-flung corners of regional NSW, stretching from Bourke and as far as Broken Hill. The exhibition also includes works by Young Archies artists. The annual competition and art exhibition was developed in 2011 by Outback Arts as an opportunity for artists living in regional, rural and remote regions to exhibit their work. The competition offers both cash and prizes along with exhibition opportunities at metro galleries.
